Dr. Khambati's Journey in ophthalmology began with a personal mission inspired by his grandfather's struggle with vision loss. Driven to help others see the world more clearly, he dedicated himself to providing advanced eye care, starting in a small space within his father's dental practice. Today, as a vision correction specialist and founder of Lake Lazer, he's proud to help his patients trade glasses for clearer sight with a "laser-sharp" focus on excellence. With over two decades of experience, and thousands of vision-correcting procedures, Dr. Khambati offers a range of services from LASIK, SMILE, and PRK to dry eye care and glaucoma treatment. Whether answering questions or guiding you to your best vision yet, he makes sure your care is as advanced as it is compassionate. Dr. Marcell brings dedication and precision to Lake Lazer's team. As both a medical eye care provider and the center's vision exam specialist, he offers patients a clear path to optimal eye health. A magna cum laude graduate of the Chicago College of Optometry, he's known for his "presciption" for compassionate, efficient care that patients appreciate. With expertise in managing complex ocular conditions - such as diabetic eye care, glaucoma, corneal disease, and dry eye syndrome - Dr. Marcell is ready to tackle even the trickiest eye health challenges. A proud member of the American Optometric Association, he's her to make your eye care journey clear, comfortable, and tailored to you - one focused appointment at a time.

As the Office Manager, Heather is the organizational backbone of Lake Lazer Eye Center, making sur eveery detail clicks into place so you receive exceptional care and a fantastic experience. Known for her meticulous approach, Heather ensures that each day runs smoothly, handling everything from last-minute changes to unexpected challenges with a can-do attitude. She's the go-to problem solver - no challenge is too big! But if she's "laser-focused" on her computer when you come in, just grab her attention to say hi - patients are the reason she's here! Andrea is the welcoming face and friendly voice at Lake Lazer Eye Center. With a passion for exceptional patient care, she ensures every visitor feels comfortable from the moment they walk through the door. Her multitasking skills are legendary; she can check in one patient, check out another, schedule appointments, handle insurance matters, doctor referrals, and medical records requests, and still answer the phone with a smile. Just don't try rearranging her desk - Andrea likes things precisely her way! Her dedication and attention to detail keep our office organized and patients well cared for from start to finish.

Sakina is here to make your vision correction journey as smooth as possible, committed to helping you see clearly - and look fabulous while doing it! As both an eyewear expert and Lake Lazer Eye Center's LASIK Coordinator, she guides patients through every step of the LASIK and vision correction process, helping them feel confident about their decisions. Sakina brings a fresh perspective as out youngest team member, keeping the rest of us on our toes with trends we might otherwise miss. She may look serious, but she has a great sense of humor that lightens the mood, ensuring you have all the support you need to achieve clearer vision - on patient at a time.

Mihai oversees the management and operations of LASIK surgery and diagnostic testing at Lake Lazer Eye Center. He plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring that every LASIK experience is top-notch. As Dr. Khambati's go-to buy, Mihai keeps the back of the office running smoothly, making sure every detail of our LASIK and eye care services slows seamlessly from start to finish. Alex brings a lively energy to the Lake Lazer Eye Center team. Whether he's sharing quick story about his weekend or asking about yours. From checking your vision to helping you put in contacts of lending a hand as you head to your care, Alex makes every step of your visit engaging and enjoyable. His goal?
